Way to go Utes!!!

How cool is this? I can't believe Utah won. It was such a great game to watch. Gabe was so happy, that he couldn't fall asleep.

I just hope thay get the respect that thay deserve. Way to go Utes.

Happy New Year

We had a good New Year. We went over to our Friends the Anderson's. We ate someo good food and played Rock band 2. We had a good time. Then we waited for the ball to drop and drank some Martinellie's at we took off. The kids crashed in the car on the way home. We got to sleep in a little and then went to take a toy back of Jordyn's back and than took the kids to the mall to spend the money and Grandma & Grandpa Keil gave them. That was an adventure in itself. Hope we have good year.

Christmas

Are family had a really good Christmas. Kelly woke up at 6:00 a.m. and came into our room and scared the crap out val and I. We both jumped up out of bed. So we woke the boys up. Some of the kids had already went and looked at there presents. We were done by 6:45 and had to wait till 11:00 to go to mom's house. Then we waited for Ben and Heather to get there. I guess they had problems with all the tons of snow. We got stuck in mom's circle and ended up having Shawn in the driver's seat with Ben, Bryce and myself pushing the car out. We went over to Val's bro's house to open presents. Unfortunately I didn't have anything to open because they had left my present at home, so there was a little drama because of that.

Val and I went over to my buddy Rob's house to watch the UFC fights. We had a good time there. Especially because we got to see some old friend's from high school.

Good times

We had a great Thanksgiving. Shawn and I went and played at the ward Turkey bowl which was a lot of fun. Shawn couldn't do a lot because of his ankle but he did get an interception. We only had the 4 younger kids because Kelly went to her Nana's house. Shawn went to his uncle Raymond's. And we went to Grandma Doyle's. There weren't a lot of people there so it was kind of nice. I do have to say we had the best Mashed Potato's and gravy there. After we ate the lady's did a craft like they normally do. I watched a little football, the games weren't that good.

On Friday I had to work but Val went and did the Black Friday sale. She got a couple of good things when she went with her friend Divinity. She says she will probably never do that again. Val and I get to celebrate our birthdays this week, yea.

Vegas Baby Yea

Last Thursday the Anderson's brought there 2 daughters over to the house to watch them for the week and we went over to the Anderson's house to spend the night so we could leave early to Vegas. It was nice to have some quiet time there. We left about 9:30 before James forgot he had to pay for the Futsal so we made a stop off at the guys house and then off we went. We stopped a couple of times for people to use the restroom.



When we got there we went to the soccer complex to check out the field. It was ok but it had a lot of dead grass. We checked in at the condo and boy was it nice. We met up with everyone on the team and took them trick or treating in a brand new subdivision of Model homes. The boys made out like bandits with how much candy they got.



The following day we had the tournament. They tied the first game, won the second game and lost the last one 3-2. After that the boys wanted to go back and go swimming so we did. Later that night we went out to the strip to go to Treasure Island but the show got cancelled so we went to the Balligio hotel to see the water fountains go and caugh the end of that. We went to the Coca Cola place and then on to the M&M store. He got a bag of assorted colors and stuff. The Streets of Vegas are horrible. We had to keep our eyes infront of us to we didn't see the naked pictures that the Clicker people were handing out to people. We took a cab back to the hotel and in took us 10 minutes instead of 25-30 min with the traffic.

The next day they played another game which put them in the Semi-final but they lost that game to some mistakes made the the players and coach. So they played for 3rd or 4th and ended up taking 3rd. We left Monday to come home. I was gad that the Anderson's had a dvd player in there van. I'd like to thank the Andereson's for everything they did for us while we were down there.
