Happy Birthday Rylie

It is our little Emma Rylie Keil's birthday. She is turning 5 years old. I can't believe that she will be going to kindergarten. She has grown up so quick.

Last night Shawn, A.J. and myself went up to Skyline to watch Real Salt Lake to play the PFC Lobos. Real beat them 3-0. A.J. got picked to go out on the field with the players before the game started and got to shake the hands of the players and the refs. It got a little chilly with the wind blowing but we had fun.

You got to love it baby

It happened. After 8 games of telling Rylie to stand in front of the goal it finally paid off. She scored a gooooooal. This kid on her team passed her the ball and she lightly kicked the ball in. I don't think she could believe it. Then a little later she got the ball and cruised down the field but had the ball taken away. This was the best game that she played all year long. When we came home last night I put her on my shoulder and walked in the house singing the Rocky theme. When Rylie scored that goal I got a little teary eyed, it was awesome.

A.J's soccer team scored at least 20 goals on the team they played on Saturday during his indoor soccer game. Rylie has her last indoor game tonight. I hope she gets a chance to score a goal. I had to speak in church on Sunday in a diferent ward. It seems like every other month I am speaking in another war. I am a companion speaker so I get to speak first. I only had to speak for about 20 mins. We were going to send Kyle's B-day present but since it's to late we are going to wait and give it to him when he comes to town in another month or so.

Soccer game

I can't believe how funny it is to watch Rylie play her indoor soccer. Last night she was playing and as she would go by us she would look to see if were watching her and then smile and wave. Not even paying attention to what was going on. She did a lot better last night. Many of the parents commented on how much better she's getting. Rylie got her soccer trophy last night also. Dad and Shauna were there and also Grandma Neen. We went to mom's after the game to grab the barbecuer she bought us for Christmas.
We've been waiting for Val's sister to come get the car and they did it on Saturday. Now I can get the garage cleaned up and get things organized. A.J. has soccer training tonight so everyone but Shawn is going. It is at Bear park in sandy. Then after were going to stop at Del Taco and get some dinner for cheap.

GOOOOOOOOOAL

A.J. was on fire on Saturday. Mom and Grandma and Grandpa Doyle came also his game. He scored a hat trick. And for those who don't know what a hat trick is it's 3 goals. He was all over the place. A.J. is really starting to love the game of soccer. Rylie has her last game tonight. Which is sad because now we don't have any video of her playing indoor since our camcorder got stolen. I am hoping to get her into outdoor soccer this year.

Shawn's basketball team was eliminated from the tournament. At least me made it to the last of 8 teams. There were a lot of bad fouls called and a lot of no fouls not called. All the is important is that the kids had a fun good season. Tomorrow A.J. has his indoor game. I got some knew glasses the other day and it is taking my eyes a little time to get used to them. I have been getting headaches.

On Tuesday we had our first playoff game. It was kind of nerve racking because I only had half of my team there. It was a very low scoring game. At half time it was 15-4 for the other team. Then starting the 3rd quarter we full- court pressed them and caused them to turn the ball over. We got back in the game and scored 10 straight points. By the end of the quarter we were 14-and the were 19. The kids played really well. A.J. had soccer training on the same day. If was really cold outside but the kids on his team sure didn't mind. Tonight we have our second playoff game with a team we had already played this year. They beat us but hopefully tonight we can paly better and go onto the final four.

Good but Bad weekend

Well the weekend started out pretty good. I coached Shawn's basketball game and we beat the team pretty good. The team had 3 kids foul out and that only left them with 3 kids to play. So the coach for the other team conceded the game and we let the kids that fouled out play. Then after Shawn's game we hurried over for A.J's game which he played great. There first goal a kid on A.J's team named Jack crossed the ball over the middle and A.J. brought his leg back and kicked it hard and it went flying into the goal. Then the second goal he had was one where he was on the left side at a weird angle and was some how able to bend the ball and it went in.

Well the bad part of the weekend was that it had started snowing outside so I put A.J's soccer bag and the camera bag down and told Val to grab them when they came outside. Well I guess Val didn't hear me and I didn't notice that they didn't have them. Well Sunday I went out to the van to grab A.J's soccer schedule and didn't see his bag so I asked Val if she had grabbed them when we were at A.J's soccer game and she said no. So I called Dimple Dell Recreation and they said they had A.J's soccer bag but not the camcorder case. So now we have no Camera or camcorder. There was Peyton's and A.J's birthday pictures on the camera and a couple of Rylie's soccer games and A.J's soccer games on there. I am so depressed about losing that stuff and now we are going to have to get everything new. And you can't replace photo's
